I never ever pat any dogs without asking the permission of the owner in clear sight of the dog: basic sense that nobody should be without. But hey, in socialist Britain who needs common sense and courtesy when the State can just ban things wantonly?
Dog licenses should be expensive so that they can pay for the training course that should be mandatory with them and the bigger the dog, the greater the intensity of the course.
I & others in my family have Rotts. Beautiful dogs, very loving and very clever. We train them correctly and they are given love not beatings to make them loving not vicious. My Gran's Golden Retriever? Put down. Rescue dog, clearly had issues with how it was raised / trained and attacked my cousin for putting his hand into the boot of the car to put the dog's lead on before taking him for a walk.
Sadly their strength attracts idiots, but that is no reaosn to kill of many lovely breeds of dog. A bit like saying that souped up hatchbacks attract young stupid drivers so should be banned. Or that Nissan Micra and Toyota Yaris attract buyers who have no business being on any road at any time, so ban sales of these cars.
Nonsensical tripe.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
